GEODIS is a leading global Supply Chain Operator, ranked sixth worldwide and in Europe, and France’s leading distribution and express provider – a significant global player in transportation and logistics services. GEODIS Denmark’s activities are within Freight Forwarding and are based primarily on air and ocean freight, express services, transport management, project logistics & aid relief, and warehousing.
As Sales Director at GEODIS, you will report directly to the CEO and lead The Business Development team. The Sales Director will be overall responsible for the sales organisation, which is the commercial driver of GEODIS’ customer portfolio in different Freight Forwarding segments. You will have a central role in the organisation and be part of the management group setting the strategic direction for GEODIS Denmark.
Your primary responsibilities and tasks are:
Your qualifications are at least five years of sales and management experience within the transport and logistics industry, preferably from an international environment. You have advanced experience with purchasing patterns, concept sales, negotiation, and business strategy planning. You are a positive people leader who takes pride in showing how to create growth. You can demonstrate excellent sales management skills with documented results.
You have a relevant business education, e.g., within management, administration, supply chain management, shipping and logistics, finance, or the like. You must be a very ambitious and commercial profile with high business acumen.
You are a person with a proactive, innovative, and strategic mindset. You are a creative problem solver and have excellent stakeholder management skills. You have a passion for sales and management and thrive in a dynamic environment. You are a successful commercial leader who is always looking for new opportunities to optimise solutions, processes, and business development for the customers, grow the company, and inspire the employees.

- Attraction, development, and retention of the sales team.
- Identify future global accounts based on current key accounts within the country and cross-selling opportunities within the region.
