Sales Director – CCO
GROWN UP GROUP is one of the established backpack and luggage manufacturers and exporters principally operating in the design, development, manufacture and sales of a diverse product portfolio under the business model. The backpack and luggage products under such product portfolio are categorized into:
These products are catered to kids, teens, sports, leisure, business, travel and technical segments.
With direct report to the CEO, who is settled in Hong Kong, you will have the overall responsibility for the European Sales Office in Aarhus, and together with 23 dedicated employess develop both design, products and sales supported by finance and operations. The Sales Director – CCO will be a part of the international top management team.
Your main tasks will be:
Developing the sales strategies and plans. By joining GROWN UP GROUP you are expected to build a new commercial licensing concept. License sales in Europe are developing, and there is a great potential to scale the area. That includes being both strategic and hands on product strategy, development of sales concepts, product positionings in terms of price and quality and competition monitoring.
New sales and resale. The Sales Director – CCO is responsible for GROWN UP GROUP reaching its ambitious growth targets in both revenue and earnings as well as constructing a structured description of the market, the growth strategy and a detailed plan of action.
Budget and performance responsibility. Responsible for the preparation, follow-up and compliance with GROWN UP GROUP’s sales budgets, including ensuring clarity and implementation of profitable sales with all customers and a running focus on continuous improvement for both customers and GROWN UP GROUP.
Organization, employees and structure. The Sales Director – CCO is responsible for securing and further developing the correct organization of the Sales Department and European Sales Office in general – ensuring an organization of sales, finance and operations resources matching the strategies and action plans.
Participation in the management team in Denmark and Asia. The Sales Director – CCO will act as sparring partner and management colleague in both Board of Directors and the management team in Denmark and Asia, in relation to all management tasks that can create improvements to the company.
You have experience from a similar position as International Sales Director, CSO, Head of Sales or Sales Manager with focus on sales towards retail segment and international sales – and probably has documented results and experience within the lifestyle business.
Documented sales and management results are most important, but the ideal candidate naturally has a higher commercial education such as cand.merc., MBA or HD.
