Maximize Advanced Wound Devices
As Account Manager, Surgical Indications at Smith+Nephew, you will be responsible for driving and maximizing sales of their portfolio of Advanced Wound Devices (AWD) – in particular PICO, their advanced solution for negative pressure wound therapy. You will be a central part of the Swedish AWM team and contribute to ensuring that Smith+Nephew continues to be the preferred partner throughout Sweden.
Your focus will be to support customers in preventing surgical site complications for their patients. You will manage key relationships through regular engagement and together with your customers build real world evidence. You will be working project-oriented with your own budget and take an active part in scoping the extent of collaboration with customers and stakeholders. More specifically, you will develop and build strong relationships to clinicians in specialty areas such as surgical, obstetric and orthopeadic at targeted hospitals and clinics. Geographically, you will cover Sweden and a suitable place of residence could be Stockholm or Gothenburg.
You will contribute to Smith+Nephew’s vision of supporting healthcare professionals in their daily efforts to restore patients’ lives. You will develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize knowledge of patient well-being, the benefits for healthcare professionals, and the economic value of using Smith+Nephew’s solutions. The Swedish AWM team today consist of a team of account managers, KAM’s and the Swedish sales manager which will all be part of your day to day collaborators.
The role is field-based, and it is expected that you are engaged with your customers 80% of your time. In addition, there will be travel requirements to internal and external Conference’s 10-15 days a year.
Seeking driven Sales Professional with Healthcare Expertise
To be successful, you must have strong commercial experience and an interest in sales and building relationships with customers. You enjoy spending time with your customers, are result driven and have a passion for improving the healthcare system. Expectedly, you hold an educational degree within Science/Healthcare or equivalent. You have a proven sales experience with medical devices, preferably with experience from surgical procedures. You demonstrate an understanding of the challenges within the Swedish healthcare sector, and you have a desire to work closely with customers to ensure a better quality of life for patients. Fluency in Swedish is a requirement for the role as well as driver’s license.
