Now you have the opportunity of an attractive regional position in a globally leading company. You will have a large commercial responsibility for operating and executing a growth scenario, which is already successful. Together with your international management team, the key focus is to continue the strategic sales development and at the same time develop the organization's competencies. You will refer to VP Grain & Seed EAME & APAC who has deep industry experience gained over many years. There are very good international career opportunities for the right person.

Grow profitable top-line sales
You will be responsible for the Grain product line sales and pre-sales organizations with responsibility for the following clusters: MENA, Egypt, Nordics, Russia, Ukraine, Poland and E. Europe. Primary focus is to grow top-line sales and profitability by developing and executing specific market strategies for each cluster, and furthermore leading and developing the sales organization and the use of tools to support the governance of your team. The objective is to sell AGCO Grain & Seed offerings in the EAME region being the lead on the Grain product line.

Your primary tasks are:

  • Full budget accountability for clusters in area of responsibility
  • Market and operations strategy: implementation of a robust market and operations strategy
  • Coordinate inputs from regional sales organizations towards a sustainable strategy
  • Grow profitable top-line sales
  • Drive the improvement of the sales, dealer management and pre-sales
  • Use sales funnel management to deliver the volume and gauge market trends
  • Attend customer meetings and support the sales team
  • Ensure feedback to product management around the portfolio, so that the current product line-up will be expanded, and new products will be introduced
  • People management, coaching, and development of direct reports in different departments
  • Drive mindset, behavioural and cultural change
  • Analyze and provide dealer/customer development opportunities and recommendations to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Ensure the right successor planning in the organization
  • Member of the EAME Regional Leadership Team

Strategic mindset and customer focus
You probably have a bachelor’s degree in business and plus 5 years of management experience. It is required that you have international sales experience and experience leading a sales organization, and do you have experience within Grain & Seed, or a comparable industry, it is preferred. Furthermore, you have worked within projects and technical solutions at a high level and can act in a larger, broader organization. In your former position, you have demonstrated the ability to listen and clearly communicate both verbally and written, as well as the ability to analyse data, synthesize, and develop strategic recommendations. Your colleagues acknowledge your strategic mindset and customer focus and see you as an accountable, trustworthy, team-oriented manager.

Your background in heavy technical project sales enables you to see solutions and has provided you with the ability to move at both management and technical implementation level in companies. You are strong in customer dialogue, close follow-up on cases, understanding solution sales as a method, e.g. SPIN with a focus on ROI and TCO, and use CRM in daily sales work. As a Sales Director you thrive with both short- and long-term goals, have high energy, and can solve multiple tasks at once. You are socially engaging and thrive in a team. And with a good faith in own abilities and attention to details, you are a strong decision-maker with a pragmatic approach to change.
