Senior Security Risk Officer

Management of risks based on well-functioning annual cycle of work
As a Senior Security Risk officer your primary objective is the management of security risks, governance, and compliance. As such, you play a pivotal role in protecting the company from especially cyber threats. You also help ensure are follow existing laws and legislation – with an eye for how upcoming laws’ influence our risk management setup.
You will create and improve policies, standards, guidelines, and processes concerning cyber security. Much of your work will be based on our annual cycle of work that specifies your key 30-35 deliverables and related deadlines. Your primary tasks will include:
8+ years of risk management experience
As Senior profile you must be able to plan and manage own tasks independently, naturally first after a good and thorough onboarding period. You must also be able to apply a holistic view on your personal tasks in order to see them as part of the bigger picture covering the total security strategy and governance.
Being part of a small team with major responsibility and your role as Subject Matter Expert calls for your collaboration skills and your motivation for sharing knowledge and support the well-being of the total team. Last, but not least you must bring courage and not be afraid to fail. We break new ground and in failing we can achieve great learning and value – as long as we learn from the faults we make.

- Provide direction and guidance in the development, implementation, and communication of risk related policies and standards
- Be responsible for the governance related to the Group Security control framework
- Provide and drive the aggregated risk supervision for various high impact areas of IT services
- Gather and convey relevant insights on new legislation, compliance standards and best practices
- Help develop, maintain, and publish up to date information security policies, standards and guidelines
- Deliver on-going reporting of tasks in hand including the information security program
- Act as subject matter expert for colleagues in various departments
8+ years of risk management experience

- At least 8 years of risk management experience
- Maybe a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other information systems security certification – not a requirement for applying
- Experience across audits, data protection, risk assessment, legislation, compliance and policies
