Production workers, fish factory InnovaMar, Frøya, Norway

SalMar, Kverva, Norway, is looking for production workers.

Start date as soon as possible.

The job as a production worker will consist of a variety of work assignments related to the harvesting and processing of salmon, including manual cutting, packing, preparing, sorting, and the like.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience from salmon production or other food production is an advantage, but not a necessity
• Good communication skills. English language is required
• Good collaboration skills
• Valid Police clearance
• Valid background check from the Civil Aviation Authorities

We offer:

• We offer 80% permanent positions.
• Normally you work 37,5 hour per week (100%) but this can vary on a weekly basis
• Salary NOK 199,78 pr. hour

We work in shifts, so that you change between working day- and evening shift every other week. Due to our type of industry, there will be possibilities to work overtime and at other times there could be less than 37,5 hours a week.

SalMar AS is bound by the collective agreement between Norwegian Seafood Federation and NNN (employee union). The salary is based on the collective agreement’s rates and local supplements and is subsequently regulated through local and central wage negotiations.

As part of having a stable workforce, we prefer candidates that are looking to stay long term or permanently.
