The Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing all material creation, extension and activation requests that are addressed to the team for supporting product trials, development and product changes. This position will develop and maintain all necessary documentation relevant to position and procedural accountability. This position is also responsible for working with the appropriate functional areas to collect the correct Master Data information to drive data accuracy while improving system efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the Master Data Analyst is also responsible for project management related to systems enhancement and reporting.

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for managing all material creation, extension and activation requests that are addressed to the team for supporting product trials, development and product changes. This position will develop and maintain all necessary documentation relevant to position and procedural accountability. This position is also responsible for working with the appropriate functional areas to collect the correct Master Data information to drive data accuracy while improving system efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the Master Data Analyst is also responsible for project management related to systems enhancement and reporting.
How to contribute to our vision
- Ensures Master Data integrity in SAP system and maintains the processes to support the data quality
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions
- Actively participate and represent Master Data in Material Master Data governance meetings
- Assist in data management governance and quality with other function owners to ensure data integrity across operations and consistency with business processes and requirements
- Provide assistance in resolving data quality issue through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and data stewards
- Support the business with required procedures, submit incidents and change requests when needed
- Develops training material and facilitates training sessions for building capabilities around master data topics in Service Business unit
- Ensures data definitions/decisions are consistently/clearly communicated throughout the business process
- Coordinate urgent cases where agility is the key
- Ensures data integrity and compliance by performing data cleansing, data audits, and data validation
- Performs root-cause analysis on master data-related system problems and recommends or executes corrective action
- Collaborates with the SAP support team in the creation and implementation of new or revised designs that affect master data
- Other duties assigned as needed.

- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task effectively and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without close guidance or supervision
- Results driven, self-sufficient and highly motivated
- Analytically minded and a methodical problem solver
- Very good interpersonal skills with excellent customer service
- Ability to understand complex data requirements, and be able to identify and offer multiple solution options to facilitate the best outcome (e.g. automated transformation vs. manual enrichment)
- Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
- Excellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts, and provide clear documentation to the management and project leadership
- Service oriented attitude balanced with “doing what is right for the project/business”, even if that is not a popular decision.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences, deal with ambiguity, and succeed against in a high-pressure environment
- 3-5 years of experience managing master data across a complex international supply chain in an ERP environment. SAP Key User expertise (preferably within Cross Applications) preferred
- 3-5 years contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
- 3-5 years developing solutions to complex problems which may require some ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization precedents and policies.
- 1-3 years being part of a project management team in supply chain or other global cross-functional position.
- Overall understanding of logistics and business processes.
