Job Description
Are you the financial expert we need to drive and embed the Total cost control culture in TEPDK? Do you have a desire for creating cost transparency, and would you like to be part of our Cost Controlling team in TEPDK? If yes, then this position at our Total Esbjerg office might be for you!
Key Responsibilities
You will have a key role in cost controlling. This means that you have the responsibility of constant control of cost, ensuring transparency through standardised processes and meaningful reporting that supports decision-making. You will also be assisting in a timely preparation of forecasts and budgets. Finally, you will provide an insightful analysis and commentary to management.

Securing compliance to financial guidelines, your areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
- Contributing to the reporting requirements delivering data and comments/explanations
- Maintaining reports in SAP to monitor expenditures against budgets, forecasts, commitments and AFEs as appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with cost control processes both in quality and timeliness as well as correct the analytical coding on cost commitments
- Performing reconciliation of data, e.g. time writing, highlighting where time sheets are missing and take follow-up action where necessary
- Identifying and planning actions required with budget holders on areas of spend to be challenged
- Ad hoc assistance for the broader organisation
- Financial review meetings with portfolio managers

- You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in finance
- You have knowledge of and beginner experience with SAP
- You have great analysis/synthesis capabilities
- You know the importance of stakeholder management
- You are computer literate and have experience with various applications (primarily SAP, Excel and PowerPoint)
- You are fluent in English
