The job
We are right now looking for a competent colleague for our central QMS Quality Department. As a QMS Specialist, your job will involve quality assurance and quality management activities related to our QMS system D4infonet.
As we are in progress of implementing an international and digital QMS system, your primary task will be, in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation, to define and describe the QMS processes in D4infonet, drive the implementation of them and ensure that we are in compliance.

The job
We are right now looking for a competent colleague for our central QMS Quality Department. As a QMS Specialist, your job will involve quality assurance and quality management activities related to our QMS system D4infonet.
As we are in progress of implementing an international and digital QMS system, your primary task will be, in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation, to define and describe the QMS processes in D4infonet, drive the implementation of them and ensure that we are in compliance.
Further tasks include:
- Manage handbooks, chapters, documents, flows and forms archived in D4infonet at group level across Espersen
- Establish, implement and maintain quality documents.
- Train users in procedures and forms.
- Develop and maintain forms.
- Act as D4infonet administrator and editor.
- Maintain users and user groups.
- Train local users at all levels in the system.
- Set up news, front pages and key figures.
- Monitor compliance:
- Report on quality objectives (KPIs).
- Monitor and report on foodstuff legislation in EU, US and other selected countries to identify and rectify compliance gaps.
- Support implementation of external requirements into the QMS system.
- Conduct and report on supplier and internal audits.
- Drive and manage ad hoc quality projects and improvements.
Your profile
To be successful in this position you must:
- Have an analytical and structured approach to your tasks, but with a pragmatic and holistic touch.
- Be open to travel activities, also overseas.
- Be quality conscious, independent, persistent and accommodating.
- Be a team player, understanding the value of strong collaboration and you naturally commit with many different people at different levels in the organisation.
- Enjoy having many ongoing activities at the same time without losing track of the detail.
- Follow-up on tasks and make sure they are completed – and you are good at it.
- Be robust and not affected by challenges, tight deadlines and technical issues, you actually get energized by them.
Your qualifications
We expect that you:
- Have a technical food related education at bachelor level or similar.
- Have, as a minimum, 3 years of experience from the food industry, preferably within seafood.
- Have strong and proven experience within quality assurance, quality management, foodstuff legislation and recognized GFSI standards.
- Have experience in the role as project manager and auditor.
- Are used to monitor, analyze and report on KPIs and data in general.
- Are fluent in written and spoken English – and easily commit to an international business.
- Are familiar with Microsoft Office
