Haldor Topsoe is an international company with headquarters in Lyngby and we sell highly specialized catalysts and products to industrial plants worldwide. Topsoe has signed with a strong financial partner (minority owner) to increase our investment potential in relation to both organic and inorganic investment initiatives.
Corporate Finance Controlling is therefore a pivotal department in this journey, driving and supporting external financial aspects within our existing and new business areas.
Our department is responsible for controlling and supporting all our Danish and international companies. We are participating in optimization of our global financial processes. Furthermore, we are responsible for all external financial reporting such as annual reports, half-annual reporting etc. We report directly to the head of Corporate Finance.
You will work from our headquarters in Lyngby in close collaboration with colleagues both in Denmark and in our regional offices. You will get deep insight and a thorough understanding of our global organization, build strong relations, influence and set the direction for how and when we make our decisions.
You will get the opportunity to participate in relevant courses, and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues.
You must expect approx. 10 international travel days per year.

Your responsibilities
- Monthly financial controlling of a number of group companies
- Monthly reflection in the books of the parent company on financial performance of a number of group companies
- Analysis, reconciliations, specifications etc.
- Annual reports
- Cooperation with our auditors
- Cooperation with our Financial Shared Service Center in India
- Optimizing financial processes
- Ad-hoc assistance
You
- have a structured working style combined with strong analytical competencies
- are able to approach Regional Finance Managers / Managing Directors to pro-actively support them in order to improve financial performance
- have great communication skills and can communicate at all levels
- possess cross-cultural understanding and interact effortlessly with stakeholders across the organization
- are a true team player and can picture yourself working closely with a group of international colleagues in an informal environment.
Qualifications
- Educational background e.g. Cand. Merc. Aud., HD(R), or other relevant financial background.
- At least a couple of years of experience as auditor or from an international finance department working with accounting and controlling
- Experience with ÅRL and IFRS
- Experienced user on SAP and Microsoft Excel, user level knowledge on other Microsoft Office programs
- Experience from working in an international environment
- Fluency in English, written as well as spoken.
