Global KnowleX, shortly recognized as GKX, is a young Danish, private-owned company supporting International Students (14 - 19 yrs) studying in Denmark without parents or guardians. Based on experience from classical High School exchange programs, we have developed a service and support program where the student and their families can get help for “parental” help and advice that is difficult for parents to undertake but essential for the young students' well-being when the child moves to another country and culture.
The program is structured as a membership, where the international students through the program get an in-depth knowledge of the Danish way of life, and a strong network in Denmark as we expect and encourage them to do their further education and take up work in Denmark in the future. The program has been well received by our students and families but is still under development and construction. To take the following steps, we are looking for a coordinator to develop, run and spread awareness of the program in Eastern Europe and Asia.
The position is newly created, and our future employee will have and is expected to be interested in having a strong influence on the job content.

Preliminary Working Tasks: We encourage international minor students to study in Denmark at a young age to experience the Danish school system and lifestyle. Our future employee must therefore want to;
- Increase awareness in East Europe and Asia among secondary and upper secondary school pupils and their parents about the possibility of studying in Denmark and taking an internationally recognized diploma like fx IGCSE at a Danish Boarding School or an IB Diploma at a Danish High School.
- Prepare realistic budgets and branding plans for GKX’s entry into the East European and Asian markets and deliver results accordingly.
- Assist and answer questions from cooperation partners regarding school choice and GKX services.
- Develop, implement and organize integrational creating activities and advice for the students daily.
- Preparation of contracts for students, agents etc, including ensuring that the content is legally correct
- Develop and fundraise sponsorships for a unique scholarship program for talented but financially weak students.
- Develop, brand, and run GKX Summer Schools for secondary pupils.
- Hold presentations at schools, companies, and associations about GKX activities, services, and core values to increase the general interest in supporting and retaining the students in Denmark.
- Expect between 2-5 weeks of work travel per year.
Expectations for the applicant:
- University degree at minimum bachelor level in one or more of the following fields; marketing, economy, business law, or management
- Min. 2 years of work experience in a relevant company or organization with the primary task of developing innovative projects for young people
- Experience with or at least a general understanding of East European and/ or Asian culture and family relations between parents and teenagers to adjust the GKX services accordingly to the market.
- Fluent, spoken and written in English and preferably at one additional relevant language (Russian, Chinese, etc.)
- Experience and/or general knowledge about Cambridge education (IGSCE, IB Diploma, etc.) and classical high school programs.
- Experience with working with SoME and branding campaigns
- Experience with or knowledge of organizational development
- Experience with living in Denmark and abroad, fx from exchange student programs.
- Understanding the power of networking and challenges
- Knowledge and experience with fundraising
- Interest in personal development in the position in collaboration with the management
- Happy and positive spirit for the job
