System Administrator (Atlassian)

We are looking for a person to take on a new challenge as our Atlassian system Admin! At Precis we have been using Atlassian, primarily Jira & Confluence, for the past three years. During the same time we have grown from around 200 to 450 co-workers and we now need someone to take lead on our coming work with the usage and development of Atlassian at Precis.This role is the first of its kind at Precis and we are looking forward to being joined by someone with solids skills within Atlassian (or similar platforms) who can ensure a super smooth experience for our co-workers as well as being part in pushing us in how we can better utilize and work with e.g Jira and Confluence. You will be the main point of contact for the platform and your work will be split between operationally supporting the organisation with system management in combination with identifying and developing processes and setting strategies for how we can integrate and utilize the systems in our work.We are looking for someone that is good at creating processes, is self-initiated and has a technical interest. You easily collaborate with colleagues, enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and like to solve problems. Administer Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence. Including user support, user and license management and vendor contact.

Owning and defining best practices for working with Jira

Owner of schemes – permissions, screens, fields, etc.

Evaluated new add ons and integration with other systems

Update guides and information, as well as host user training when needed.

Ad-hoc user assistance (e.g. support in a shared Slack group)

Ownership of internal and external reporting

IT-related education from University or College, or similar experience in other roles e.g system administration.

Highly interested in systems and platforms both from a technical as well as a user standpoint.

Self-initiated, helpful, process-oriented and curious.

Preferred: Experience from working with the Atlassian products, primarily Jira and Confluence

Preferred: Interest or experience in Scrum.

IT-related education from University or College, or similar experience in other roles e.g system administration.
