We are looking for a Software Engineer to support Asset Management Trading Organisation. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to work with smart and inspiring people in a collaborative environment. If you want the opportunity to be a first mover in a greenfield Nordic domain, then this position is up for grabs.The role will not only require technical nous but will demand dexterity in terms of interacting with a variety of stakeholders as you gather inputs from business areas such as Trading, Business Development and Portfolio Management.

You’ll join Investment Solutions where we offer this opportunity to be part of our agile value stream that endeavours to bring Nordea Asset Management’s investments and trading activities to the next level. Working in close collaboration with colleagues, you will have the full responsibility of modelling and developing investment and trading systems for a leading European Asset Manager.

The right candidate will be mentored to produce forward thinking technology that will make an high business impact. It is a continuous journey, as there will be new requirements on an ongoing basis, where you will analyse the requirements of the business and implement tasks to fulfil them. In the end, you will own the solution that you have developed. Hence, you will support it after its deployment via our SRE team.

What you’ll be doing:
You will be responsible for developing software capable of real-time analysis and optimization of trading positions. This includes both business and technical design, and identifying and modeling the needed data with highly optimized SQL’s, and development of the solutions, in collaboration with highly skilled C# / .Net developers.

You will work the full stack and ensure that the deliveries are handled effectively, delivered on-time and on-quality. The tasks will include:
