Senior Enterprise Architect – Innovation

Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
· Guide and facilitate large scale and individual hacks across Maersk to help foster and embed innovation across our talent.
· Establish the Maersk methodology to take ideas from concept through to approval and incubation with our platforms for product development.
· Enable innovation working experiences through physical workspaces such as garages, containers through to virtual environments.
· Have a deep understanding of our customers through active participation in feedback sessions, analysis of customer surveys etc. Using this to help guide our talent in Maersk.
· Facilitate and grow our communities of innovation within Maersk.
· Identify and grow our tap innovation talent in Maersk through mentorship.

What You’ll Do
· Be a key influencer in how we provide innovation work areas in both physical locations and virtual environments by garnering feedback from our communities and input from external sources.
· Organise 1-2 global hackathons a year together with facilitation of local hacks as required. Help incubate top ideas into our platforms for development.
· Build our community of innovation within Maersk through virtual channels such as teams, yammer, etc as well as building out your network of innovation talent across the organization.
· Showcase our innovation approaches to customers through demos, feedback sessions etc.
· Establish our framework and methodology for innovation and transition/incubation of successes into OP1/OP2 approvals for funding of full product development.
· Work across Maersk and into our customers to establish opportunities to innovate as a partnership.
· Work with our training academy to establish ways to gamify, provide digital badges, etc for contributions to innovation.
· Mentor our top talent to help scale out our innovation culture within Maersk.
· Represent Maersk in external innovation communities and events.

Who You Are
· Proven background in developing a culture of ideation and innovation in enterprises.
· Recognized by peers as a passionate evangelist of innovation with hand on experience to guide and mentor teams.
· Solid technical awareness of the value enabled across cloud, IoT, edge, data and modern app architectures to drive rapid innovation.
· Solid awareness of our customer needs, Maersk business models and services to help realise the value that maybe derived from new ideas.
· A strong communicator able to motivate and drive innovation from an engineering level through to CxO.
· Should be able to collaborate and work with global teams
· Able to work across organizational boundaries and matrixed reporting structures
· Exhibit a strong work ethic and technical thought-leadership
