Your role as Solution Architect

In your role as Solution Architect in Hørsholm, you will be responsible for some business-critical R&D and Global Quality applications, ensure the enhancements and operation of them and meet the authorities’ requirements, high level of performance and stability. You will also be part of application revitalization journey, where we move more applications to modern and cloud technologies. We expect that you are skillful at vendor solution analysis, focusing on business and system landscape fit.

Furthermore, you are able to come up with innovative solutions to new business needs and to optimize and digitalize processes. GxP Compliance and documentation are fundamental, so experience from a pharma company is an advantage. With your strong business acumen, you understand and translate business needs into viable IT solutions. Also, your strong stakeholder management skills allow you to communicate with both IT experts, SME colleagues and end users.

Travel activity is expected from 30 to 40 days per year.

Fields of responsibility

• Research, design, analyze and lead implementation on medium, complexity R&D and Global Quality solutions.
• Understand business process and provide technical advisory for our business colleagues in R&D and Global Quality departments.
• Technical implementation/update/configure system platforms.
• Suggest and drive technical and business improvements, incl. all aspect of architecture designs, implementation and interfaces.
• Responsible for application lifecycle management.
• Manage platform monitoring and maintenance tasks.
• Provide 3. level tech. troubleshooting.
• Coordinate vendor and consultancy, focusing on implementation and architectural fit.
• Project task coordination.
• Ensure the processes and documents adhere to GxP compliance requirements.

Your qualifications

As a candidate for the role you:

• Hold a master’s degree or professional in engineering, computer science or similar.
• Have more than 5 years’ experience with implementation and validation of IT systems with good knowledge of compliance procedure.
• Have wide technical knowledge and hands experience with of both platform and application.
• Key technologies for this position include Oracle Databases, Oracle Argus Safety Database, Axway B2Bi technologies, Qlikview, XML, IIS, Java, infrastructure skills such as firewall, network, gateway.
• Good to have knowledge include HPQC test center, Veeva Vault, VMware, PowerShell scripting and VisualCron.
• Experience with Agile system development is a plus.
• Working experience in GxP pharma environments is a plus.
• Have the drive to optimize and digitalize processes.
• Have the flexibility to travel around 30-40 days a year to our international locations.
• Speak and write English effortlessly.
