Our intranet connects Nordea across locations and time zones and helps employees find the right information. About this opportunity
Welcome to the IntraDev team within GBS Technology. You will join an engaged and independent team which will give you an opportunity to work with open source and new technology. As a full stack developer you will play a valuable role in building new web applications for our intranet.
We support Group Brand Marketing and Communication and all our colleagues in Nordea, by creating web applications, and new functionality for our intranet, publishing platform, search platform and integrations towards many other services in the bank. We are currently replacing part of our intranet with new open source technologies and would like to invite you onto this journey, where you will be able to take part in the design and shaping of the solution and future technology choices.
What you’ll be doing:
• You will design, create and improve webapps & modules that power our platform
• You will help design the future for our current platform
• Work with new technologies (Liferay DXP)
• Work with frontend and backend as a full stack developer
• Work end to end with assignments – Idea generation, designing and developing your ideas together with business and the rest of the team
• Work with search technologies (Elastic)

You’ll join a team of developers with a passion for IT. The role is based in Copenhagen, Stockhol, Helsinki, Gdansk, Gdynia or Warsaw.
What we would like to see in your experience and background:
• At least 7+ working experience within JAVA 8+ (J2EE)
• Microservice driven architecture using REST services
• Frontend web development using JavaScript and CSS
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Working with open source technology
• RDBMS (DB2, MSSQL)
• Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Jira
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
It would be beneficial, if:
• You have experience with Liferay DXP
