Are you passionate about the HR technology space and the talent and learning domain in particular?

Then we have a great opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of talent technology at Maersk globally. Maersk is on a transformation journey, and to enable that, talent development, enablement and engagement are key success factors that you will get a change to work with. HR Technology in this space is diverse and emerging. We will be diving deep into skills ontologies and talent market-place technologies, designing to create an integrated experience for our people across the diverse Maersk organization.The HR Technology Software Engineer will provide thought leadership, solution design and technical expertise to our Technology organization and People organization.

We use Workday as our core platform and will build from that.

We are looking for a driven and structured technology specialist. You have worked with cloud solutions in the HR Technology space before. We are particularly interested in people with previous exposure of talent marketplace, visible career pathing, skills driven development and creating holistic cohesive technology experiences across several platforms.

You should enjoy working in a dynamic, diverse and open organization, and feel motivation from high pace, changing environments and being able to work together with your colleagues to create an great experience for our people.

You will be a key contributor in your domain and be part of one of our agile teams, thus expected to actively help manage our backlog

You will work closely with our business in a collaborative mindset, with co-creation and co-decisions as our common framework.

Travel might be needed depending on project and activity.

Here are some of the activities you will experience on your new job:

  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and implementation of roadmaps within HR Technology, anchored with business needs.
  • Participate or lead the design to secure holistic solutions across the talent and learning technology domain.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in solutioning, using global design principles.
  • Act as expert support on HR tech related incidents and requests. Support stakeholders and initiatives with solution and technical expertise.
  • Gain practical understanding of our implementation methodology and lifecycle of our projects
  • Gather and translate business requirements, demonstrating capabilities in selected technologies, collaborating with vendors and implementation partners as needed
  • Design and configure sustainable solutions that enable the people experience and business requirements as decided by the process owners and business owners.
  • Lead, support and execute tests to secure and validate the processes and design together with the business.
  • Collaborate and work in an agile way within our agile teams, with opportunities to learn and grow also in adjacent areas within HR Technology.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • HR Learning Technology – Workday and different talent and learning technologies for talent marketplace, skills ontologies, LXP etc.

  • Ability to process large, critical data sets with high accuracy
  • Project management capability and personal organizational skills
  • Great communicator both written and verbal
  • Ability to translate technical information to a language that can influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Continuously drive improvements, and ability to identify these, proactively seeking insight and answers
  • Critical thinking and experience with design thinking
  • A continuous learner and curiosity in new HR technology

  • Great stakeholder management skills and ability to operate in a complex ecosystem including navigating the internal IT landscape and partnering with the right teams and vendors to deliver on business outcomes

Ability to lead projects and initiatives independently from initiation to finish line
