Cloud Architect

You’ll be joining the CTPO Organization which focusses on creating our Market Leading Products Omada Identity and Omada Identity Cloud. You’ll be working with the Chief Architect on the creation of new design principles for the engineering organization as well as the continuous improvement of our cloud platform in terms of operability, reliability, stability and cost. You enjoy working on a conceptual level but are also capable of going to very specific details when necessary. You are a person of principle without being dogmatic. You’ve ideally worked as a developer before or have some experience in software development. You’re able to articulate the reasons for your decision verbally and in written form and can defend them in front of senior management.

• Automated Installation of Applications
• Development Experience with distributed systems
• Direct experience driving continuous improvements in process and operational efficiencies
• Lead process-improvement efforts and manage the implementation of both business processes and technical solutions
• Drive best practices across cross functional teams
• Ability to quickly drill down to solve problems and take ownership of the resolution
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically
• Experience integrating with 3rd party service platforms
• Experience with configuration management systems and associated automation
• Management of “accesses under defined compliance standards (i.e., SOC1/2/3, SAS70, ISO27001, etc.)
• Ability to partner cross functionally in order to drive complex strategic projects
• Strong Leadership
• Experience managing high-volume customer-facing SaaS applications is an advantage

• Architecture for the Omada Identity Cloud Management Platform
• Architecture for Omada Identity Cloud
• Evangelist for Cloud Architected/Cloud Native Software Development in Engineering
• Supporting to streamline our CD/CD processes
• Insights and metrics for our Cloud Platform
• Manage the vision, design of cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, and network systems for cloud hosting. Work closely with the Cloud operation Manager that will oversee the deployment.
• Provide cloud hosting service management strategy, process, and procedures across the organization
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of corporate strategic business plans Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company’s existing Cloud architecture/infrastructure technology, and software and products portfolio
• Conduct research on emerging cloud technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
• Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for investing in cloud services, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities. Provide hands-on guidance to systems analysts, Cloud Administrators & Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other Cloud/Solution Architects Design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end cloud integrated systems and services and infrastructure capacity plans
• Participate in Cloud architecture review board and software development design activities
• Work alongside software developers and solution architects to ensure that development follows established processes for DevOps
• Communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form
• Translate loosely defined requirements into solutions
