Enterprise Architect in Group IT

In Terma we are on a global digitalization and transformation journey where the IT landscape is an important part of that transformation and where new initiatives and business requirements incorporate technologies like cloud, AI and HPC.
In order to support and evaluate the requirements and strategic directions on the business the enterprise architect will play a main role in addressing these requirements and ensure the complexity of the required is addressed.
You will be represented group IT and together with the Business process responsible or Business area digital leads mature business ideas and requirements and converting these into efficient IT requirements ensuring coherency to the IT policy and IT landscape.

Besides the involvement in ongoing digital business transformation initiatives, Group IT is looking to improve the enterprise architecture process, so that we can ensure that the current and future IT landschape matches Termas strategy and incoming requirements. Your role will be to take responsible for the development of the processes and set the standard for how we interact with the business in relation to strategy and future IT requirements.

As Enterprise Architect you will refer to Vice president, in Terma Group IT. Group IT consists of 46 employees working in a competent service-oriented organization.

The Challenge

As Enterprise Architect you will be the primary contact from Group IT in relation to projects in the start-up phase, determining the IT strategy, requirements for IT ressources, IT competences and the impact on the enterprise architecture needed to support the business project requirements. To successfully perform in this role, you will need a sound understanding of digital architecture, the underlying processes and the strategy in Termas business areas and group functions. You will have a solid process foundation in relation to the ITIL framework and will be ready to drive the changes in relation to the IT department focusing on technical debt, virtual architecture board across the whole IT organization.

Your responsibilities will primarily be in the IT strategy area (Enterprise Architecture), which includes:

• Together with solution architects establish IT roadmaps for various IT domains.
• Drive Enterprise architect processes across the IT and business organizations.
• Representing IT in the strategic dialogues across Terma to ensure that new requirements and strategic directions are analyzed and evaluated from an IT perspective.

As this position covers systems and solutions used by all Terma locations, some travel can occur (expected 5-10 days per year).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing enterprise architecture and the ability to influence and set the standards for Terma within this area.

• You already have a solid track record from working IT transformation, maybe in a role as IT Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect, where you have also worked with the transformational journey of taking IT from a local to a global enterprise architecture.
• We expect that you have a solid theoretical foundation, most likely based on a university degree at Master of Science level or similar, but if you have obtained your skillset in other ways, we also look forward to getting to know you, your story and how you can contribute.
• The right candidate should be able to communicate in Danish or English on all levels in the organization.

Knowledge and experience from working in a highly secured business environment will be considered an advantage.
