IT Solutions Architect, R&D IT Solutions, Global IT

Are you driven by the challenge of working within the interface of R&D and IT in a highly complex pharma context? We are looking for an IT Solution Architect, who can consult the business on IT solutions and ensure coherence between applications and systems across R&D.

Your new role

As IT Solutions Architect, you will join a team of IT professionals that deliver business value by sourcing, implementing, and managing IT solutions to continuously improve R&D. The team consists of experienced Project Managers and Solutions Architects, who provide an end-to-end perspective on R&D IT. You will have a key role in creating and maintaining architecture for the R&D applications and systems, and your daily work will consist of a mix of smaller tasks and large implementation projects alongside improving our approach to IT architecture at Lundbeck. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to shaping the long-term strategic direction related to the R&D IT landscape
• Transforming business needs into requirements for IT solutions
• Having an active role in R&D IT pre-projects (RFI & RFP) as well as execution projects
• Participating in solution assessments and technology – and vendor selections
• Being the link between LoB stakeholders, vendors and Global IT
• Working with system/application upgrades, lab equipment integrations as well as large implementation projects in both GxP and non-GxP settings
• Ensuring a sufficient level of IT documentation
• Coordinating support for incidents related to the applications and systems within the R&D IT portfolio

What you preferably bring to the team

• Experience working with IT solutions that supports R&D functions, preferably within a GxP environment
• Experience with Lab IT
• Application Solution Design experience
• An ability to take lead in architecture and solution design in a multi-vendors environment
• A structured and forward-looking mindset and ability to determine emerging business needs and propose appropriate responses
• You are a good communicator
• A curious and innovative mindset as well as good analytical skills
• Possible experience from the business side of IT in a larger pharma organization
