About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as an IT System Administrator. The primary objective of this role is to drive the implementation of basic IT operations frameworks and ensure the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our global expansion efforts, optimizing team composition, and contributing to the success of strategic initiatives such as the NIS 2 security program.
Your Team:
The IT Operations team currently consists of 5 people who are responsible for the overall architecture of the network, servers, storage, and the M365 suite supported by an IT Support team of 6 people. We work primarily in Azure and M365, leveraging the full potential of the Microsoft Cloud suite including Security. You participate in the overall infrastructure security design, implementation, and maintenance.

Your Team:

You participate in the overall infrastructure security design, implementation, and maintenance.
In This Role, You Will:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT services.
- Administer and support enterprise applications and tools, ensuring they meet user needs and organizational standards.
- Participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of new IT systems, services, and technologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve IT infrastructure and services.
- Develop and maintain user guides, procedures, knowledge base articles, and documentation for the company and colleagues.
To Thrive in This Position, We Imagine:
- You have a background as a data technician or IT supporter from EUD, EUX, or TEC, or you hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- You have work experience (3-5 years) in IT operations, particularly in a 3rd level support role or equivalent.
- You utilize strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and improve operational performance.
- You apply your experience with the ITIL framework and IT service management principles, particularly in incident management.
- You support a global and hybrid workforce with both remote and on-site support tools.
- You have participated in testing and implementing new systems and services.
Skills required:
- Advanced technical proficiency in system and network administration, particularly within Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager for device and application management.
- Experience with patch management and vulnerability management on a broad scale.
- Competence in IT asset management.
- Experience with creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation and user guides.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management principles.
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, and virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V, is a plus but not required.
