For our client WhiteAway Group, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer for their office in Aarhus. The right candidate will be highly motivated with a passion for working in diverse teams and building applications and services that directly impact WhiteAway Groups customers. As part of WhiteAway Group, you will work in collaboration with experienced engineers while using modern development technologies and tools.

• Designing APIs and creating RESTful microservices
• Create, modify and extend NodeJS backend APIs to power new functionality and features
• Lead large coding initiatives and take ownership of features and metrics
• Mentor and develop your colleagues
• Participate in guild discussions
• You have a structured and disciplined approach to writing clean and high-quality code
• Enthusiastic about learning about and working with complex systems and architectures
• Good communication skills
• Experience with the following technologies is a plus but not strictly required:
Backend: JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, TypeScript, JEST
Datastore: S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
Infrastructure: AWS: EC2, Cloudfront, SQS, SNS, Lambda
DevOps / Misc: Git / Github, CircleCI, Docker
