We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone who has hands-on experience supporting a 24x7x365 SOC environment as an analyst or engineer, experience as a technical team lead within the SOC, and service management experience.
Service Digital Transformation Digital Strategy & Business Architecture
As SOC Manager you will be responsible for the Security Operations Centre from defining and implementing new services to running day-to-day operations. This will include managing SOC services to provide cyber detection and defence capabilities, together with developing measurement capabilities and metrics to track and communicate performance, coverage and risks, while working closely with service leadership on decisions for the SOC service portfolio.
You will manage the lifecycle of SOC services, from concept to business case to managed service, and Drive continued service review to focus on service delivery and service performance metrics.

Responsibilities
- Ensure awareness of trends in security regulatory, technology, and operational requirements
- Maintain and enhance the SOC service catalogue and operating models, ensuring periodic reviews
- Manage contract(s) with outsourcing partner(s) providing SOC services
- Manage the SOC portfolio and resources, ensuring process adherence and key deliverables are achieved in regards to scope, cost, and schedule
- Enable and champion a service-oriented culture, while maintaining the day-to-day collaborative relationships with the relevant internal stakeholder groups
- Ensure that Service Level Agreements are defined, tracked and met.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree at Master level or higher
- 8+ years IT experience (preferably in Service Delivery Management and outsourcing)
- 3+ years Cybersecurity experience (preferably in Operational Technology)
- 2+ years outsourcing contract management experience
- Proficiency in NIST, NIS and NERC-CIP
- One or more of these certifications GICSP, CISSP, ITILv3
Competencies
- Experience in designing and building security operations centres
- Incident management process development and/or incident management experience
- In-depth familiarity with security policies based on industry standards and best practices
- Thorough knowledge of SIEM technologies.
