Turbine Solutions Control Infrastructure Release Management
The department integrates and tests software from 250 developers and delivers the turbine software for all Vestas' turbines including Safety Software, Control Software and Functional Safety at turbine level. We are continuously regression testing our turbine software, and always strive to improve and use state of the art testing software and infrastructure. The department consists of 10 employees and currently 3 consultants.
Release management is part of the Control Infrastructure organisation which have departments in Chennai, Porto and Denmark delivering the turbine infrastructure including SW, Electronics, Cables, Sensors, Cabinets, Power supplies. We have a strong focus on continuous improvements and seek to optimise the way we work.

- Development centres in Aarhus, Porto and Chennai.

- 18 hosts with 2x18 cores = 648 physical cores
- 3 physical disks on 32 TB, which means we in total have 96 TB storage
- Tools running in K8S:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Bitbucket
- Artifactory
- Jenkins
- Ability to automatically install, backup all systems, restore into test system, which means that the test system always is identical to the production system.
Responsibilities
As Tools Specialist for Control Infrastructure Engineering, your main responsibility will include:
- Set the direction for the future tool infrastructure
- Administrator of Kubernetes
- Administrator of the Atlassian Toolchain (Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence)
- Administrator of Jenkins
- Administrator of Artifactory
- Be part of a cross functional team between Portugal and Denmark
- Close collaboration with our IT department.
Qualifications
To succeed with the above, we expect you to have:
- Experience with tool chain infrastructure
- Experience with Configuration Management
- Experience with Linux and Windows
- Experience with different scripting languages like Bash, Python, PowerShell etc
- Experience as system administrator
- Ability to communicate with many stakeholders in a global organisation
- Preferable an education within software, but not a requirement.

- You are comfortable with participating in meetings taking decisions
- You have the stamina and drive to push changes through
- You deliver what you promise.
