Dol-sensors (Aarhus) is looking for a Cloud Engineer for our Azure cloud-based digital services for the agriculture industry.
You will join our multidisciplinary team of HW and SW developers, a team of 7 developers ranging from HW design, embedded SW to cloud engineering. Our small team covers a broad range of competencies; thus we are able to design and produce new sensors, connect the sensors to the cloud and publish the sensor data via API or web UI. Briefly, we develop end-to-end solutions for the agriculture industry.
As a cloud engineer at dol, you will have the full responsibility for our cloud solution developed by our sub-contractor. Our digital business is in the early stage with limited number of customers. However, soon we expect to increase customers and consequently upscale the cloud solution. Your job will be administrating the cloud in collaboration with our SW partner, oversee the maintenance and quality according to the prioritization in the backlog. Designing technical solutions for new features specified by Product management, by transforming customer requirements into technical solutions. You must focus on the optimization of the cloud operations to reduce cost. Furthermore, you must expect some 3nd line customer support in the early stage of cloud operations. Currently, our cloud services are available for EU and US customers, soon we want to expand to rest of the world, and you will have a key role in the cloud globalization.
We are using agile methods and Scrum, and you will be part of the entire development process and with focus on automated software test. You will have the opportunity to follow the product development process from analysis and specification, design and development through to final participation in the test and follow-up at the customers.
Your working day will be exciting and varied, and you will be in contact with many colleagues both inside and outside the project team.
To have success in this role we expect you to have the following competences:

To have success in this role we expect you to have the following competences:
- Strong Angular experience and thorough understanding of the core principles and patterns.
- Microsoft Azure and C#
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Nice to have: HTML, SCSS and ES6
- Strong knowledge of code optimization for maximum performance and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with Git and/or Bitbucket.
- Experience withJira and/or DevOps.
We expect that your professional background is in software development and you have an education in computer science, computer engineering or similar.
