We are in search of our new colleague to take on the role as Cloud Engineer for our Azure cloud-based digital services for the agriculture industry.
At dol-sensors you will become part of a growing but agile team of Hardware, Software, Vision and Machine-Learning developers.
Our small team covers a broad range of competencies; working close together to design and produce new high-quality sensors, connect the sensors to the cloud and publish the sensor data via API or web UI.
Our digital business is in the early stage with limited number of customers. However, we are rapidly increasing the customer-base and consequently need to upscale the cloud solution.
You will lead the maturation, scalability, and continuous development of the cloud architecture together with our strategic partners to ensure it is up to best practices and optimized for our use cases.
Your job will be administrating the cloud in collaboration with our SW partner, oversee the maintenance and quality according to the prioritization in the backlog. Designing technical solutions for new features specified by Product Management, transforming customer requirements into technical solutions.
Furthermore, you can expect some development and maintenance hands-on tasks in the early stage of cloud operations. Currently, our cloud services are available for EU and US customers, soon we want to expand to rest of the world, and you will have a key role in that cloud globalization.
Based in Aarhus, Denmark and reporting to the R&D Manager, you will spearhead the cloud journey and unlock the full cloud potential for dol-sensors.

Responsibilities
- Spearhead technical specification and validation of our cloud backend and services.
- Co-develop code
- Drive efforts to ensure that the cloud environment and applications are well-architected.
- Generate new ideas for changes and improvements to increase value to our customers
- Build and maintain collaborations with our strategic sub-suppliers.
To have success in this role we expect that the ideal candidate:
- Has professional background in software development and an education in computer science, computer engineering or simlar.
- Has hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud development
- Are confident in C#/.Net development
- Is fluent in written and spoken English
We would like to see experience with:
- Jira for task management, and Git/DevOps for version control
- Agile SCRUM methodology
Added bonus could be:
- IOT devices experience
- Former experience with partnering and external cooperation
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure).
