SGM Light plays a significant role in the global marked within light design solutions, and at the headquarters in Aarhus, the R&D-team is developing products based on the newest LED technology, electronics, mechanics, optics, and software. With a constantly growing distribution network and subsidiaries all over the word, SGM Light has established a global presence and has created lighting products that can help creative and visionary light designers to tell stories through their light creations. The projects span from light shows for concerts worldwide to the lighting of architectural buildings all over the world.
Development and production of light design solutions
As a software developer for SGM Light your primary tasks will involve developing production tools for calibration and testing of LED lamps, development of end-user PC-applications for configuration and servicing as well as occasional development of embedded firmware for single chip.
It is essential that you have extended experience with programming in .NET/C# and have familiarity with network protocols. We envision that you have an educational background in computer science, software technology, information- and communication technology or something likewise. If you have experience with or interest in electronics, vision technology, camera technology or image processing, it is an advantage. Mathematical competencies and an interest in light is also an advantage, but not a requirement.
You will collaborate closely with the production department and the development department, which is why the ability to link things together is essential in this position.
