We are looking for a Solution Architect in Delivery with pre-sales skills and capabilities. Focus area will be acting as a trusted advisor for our clients supporting their Cloud Journey based upon their business key objectives. You will collaborate with other Accenture teams developing sales opportunities that will enable our clients to achieve their short and long-term goals and objectives.
Act as trusted advisor and lead Architect on customer projects. You will take part in client meetings, and it is your responsibility to understand and bridge the customer’s needs and in cooperation with the Accenture organization offer stable solutions that meet the expected quality.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • You will work as a trusted advisor being the clints single point of contact and having end-to-end responsibility for IT solution architecture across different technology domains
  • Assigned to one or more clients where you will build a good understanding of their business needs and overall IT landscape as well challenge and transform business requirements into holistic solutions
  • Jointly with the PM take leadership and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and quality and that a smooth service Introduction to Operations are made
  • Keep yourself updated in the overall IT architecture landscape development as well as the Accenture service portfolio and reference architecture
  • Ensure all required architectural decisions are made, documented and implemented in a timely manner
  • Support the delivery and sales units in sales and presales activities e.g. in bigger plays (RFI’s and RFP’s)
  • Develop a commercial agenda and drive it alongside the full sales lifecycle; from origination to sale closure
  • Support the Accenture client Delivery Management team with specific knowledge in enterprise architecture guidelines, development guidelines, advise on continues technology refresh etc.
  • Strengthen and evolve current assets to drive Accenture growth in Intelligent Cloud and Infrastructure advisory topics, industry wide


Qualifications


Your qualifications and experience

  • We expect you to hold a relevant degree either a master’s degree combined with relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience including supplementary education. It is an advantage if you have had worked for a Global IT Service provider as well as knowledge with several different industries.
  • In order to be successful, we believe you have 5-10 years of experience working in a similar role, where you have built a broad knowledge of infrastructure and application technologies such as but not limited to: network, storage, server, virtualization technology, database technologies, data & analytics, Cloud Platforms such as MS Azure and AWS. If you have knowledge of other Cloud Platforms e.g. GCP, it is considered as a plus.
  • We believe you may have one or more certifications within frameworks like TOGAF, ITIL as well as technology certifications within Cloud Platforms or are in the process of such. Further it will be an advantage if you have a sound knowledge within enterprise architecture, design and implementation as well as IT security and governance, automation and orchestration, and CI/CD DevOps practices.
  • You have a strong motivation with an open and positive attitude. You have demonstrated interest in learning and developing in a fast-paced environment.
  • You know what it takes to ensure designing high availability, scalable (capacity) and continuity of IT operations of systems and application with a minimal effort in maintenance and operating.
  • You thrive in a busy, highly professional environment and have a structured and focused approach to your tasks, including achieving your own targets of personal and professional development.
  • You have an ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment making things happen through other people, you have a proactively mindset and do not mind taking the initiative and getting your hands dirty to ensure progress. You are focused on delivering high quality and have a sense of details needed.
  • Experience in developing concepts with pros and cons, prepare presentations and demos with skills to communicate technical solutions to client management and other client stakeholders like system owners, system managers, project managers, enterprise infrastructure architects, system architects etc. in a business language as well as in a technical language demonstrating the business added value, and you create sound relations with your stakeholders, both external and internal.
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English, native level fluency in Danish. The role is based in Denmark and some travelling within the Nordic region could be required.
  • We believe you are very much an extrovert person with a true team player spirit and with a good sense of humor.
