Job description
Lyngsoe Systems is currently on a journey of growth and development and we are actively looking for experienced System Administrator with experience within DevOps and SaaS, to join our Platform and Solutions team.
You will be responsible for deployment of software to our Staging and Production environments as well as customer environments, maintaining tools and environments for our platforms and solutions and be the teams point-of-contact from our service department aiding in problem solving and bug fixing. You will participate in all project phases from creating detailed specifications and solution design to testing and deployment.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will get to work with different technologies, platforms and methods – primarily Docker, Java, Flink, Kafka and Zookeeper as well as interfaces to different upper layer applications for data distribution and monitoring.
We are delivering Data Capture solutions in different verticals like Healthcare, Airports/Airlines, Postal & Logistics, Production & Logistics and others.
You may expect to travel in connection with the clarification and commissioning of projects.

- Be an active part of the solution through sales to customer service and support
- Deployment – in-house hosting, cloud and on-site
- Maintaining internal tools and environments
- Team 1st line support, problem analysis and bug fixing
You will get to work with different technologies, platforms and methods – primarily Docker, Java, Flink, Kafka and Zookeeper as well as interfaces to different upper layer applications for data distribution and monitoring.

Desired skills and experience
- You have an IT relevant education
- Are familiar with Linux and Windows on a basic administrator level
- Understand networks - especially Linux.
- Have insight in Docker and Docker-compose, preferably with practical experience.
- Know your way around databases.
- Master converting error reports into concrete bug reports.
- Deploying, debugging and running distributed systems.
- Experience with software deployment in running production environments.
- Knowledge about or a desire to dive into object-oriented development, using Java, Python, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven and autotest.
