Business Development Representative (BDR)

Want to play a crucial role in driving a successful Saas start-up’s growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities?

In lobyco we have created the customer loyalty and sales platform for the future across the global retail industry. We are a software company born by Coop Denmark to rethink and modernize what customer loyalty programs should offer and look like.

To support our growth we are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our commercial team.

Build robust pipeline and conduct various in depth analysis to understand the market

As our coming Business Development Representative you will have a major role in generating leads and build a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.

Also, you will conduct market research to identify potential customers for business expansion and thorough needs analysis to understand client requirements and present tailored solutions to address their business challenges.

Further, some of your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Initiate and maintain contact with potential clients to schedule meetings and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies and campaigns to penetrate new markets and acquire new customers.
  • Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline development using CRM software.


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven track record in sales or business development

To succeed in this role you already have experience, preferably in a B2B environment, with the ability to build rapport and effectively articulate the value proposition of Saas products/services. Also, you hold the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

Additionally, your CV holds:

  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
