Are you eager to work in a cross-disciplinary position within the CMC API development area and project office and work with systems and tools handling large amount of data? Are you experienced with and motivated for working with many stakeholders securing data availability and simplicity for the end user? Then this might be the right job for you.
We are hiring a data scientist for a full-time position in the CMC API Development area. Our area is responsible for developing technologies and processes for the commercial manufacturing of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in our new medicines. Currently, CMC API Development employs 190 people, all located in Denmark.
About the department
You will be part of the API Project Office team (part of CMC API Development) with a highly engaged, experienced and ambitious team of 18 employees incl. 13 Project Managers. The department’s primary objective is to lead API project activities through high performance project teams and engagement of our stakeholders to deliver high quality processes and API. The department also has the responsibility to support the other departments in CMC API Development with e.g. cLEAN, training, quality management and availability of relevant data including various data science processes. The working climate is informal with a high degree of flexibility.
The position
As a data scientist in API Project Office, you will participate in various projects and tasks which require strong logical thinking and you will work independently supporting the business and projects on an ongoing basis in CMC API Development and API Project Office with respect to data systems and tools. Your tasks will vary widely and include data processing, updating and maintaining our current data process systems, driving optimisation projects, gathering and handling large amounts of data to analyse and subtract the information into accessible tools for the area.
You will enable wide cross-disciplinary ideas and suggestions becoming smart solutions, tools and systems providing the end user with simple user-friendly data access and upload.
We operate in a fast-changing environment, with an increasing level of automation and digitalization. It is therefore expected that you keep updated in the data science area and bring with you the newest knowledge and applications.
Qualifications
You hold a bachelor or master’s degree preferably in one of these fields: Business, Natural Science, Engineering, Data Science or Economics with excellent academic credentials. You are fluent in English and you are used to work both independently and in teams.
You have excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for generating insights from data, and bring a positive attitude. The large number of stakeholders acquire you to have good communication-, and people skills.
The Ideal candidate has as minimum knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, excel, VBA and python with a natural talent for learning new systems and data scientist skills.
