About the team
You will be a part of our Innovation Hub within Manufacturing Development in Diabetes Finished Products, Product Supply. Your working place will be both at our test facility in Kalundborg as well as our global specialist centre in Bagsvaerd. Our mission is to minimise and/or eliminate human interventions during manufacturing of our injectable products by means of robotics and automation. In the team you will work together with academics, technicians and external development partners covering a wide range of disciplines. We guarantee that you will be exposed to exciting professional challenges and development opportunities.
The job
Your overall objective is to conceive and develop automated solutions to optimise our manufacturing by means of robotics, traditional automation and artificial intelligence. In collaboration with mechanical engineers and experts you will be responsible for the design and implementation of prototypes and solutions within processes which today are handled manually. Furthermore, you will be responsible for improving the designs after test interpretation and support that your prototypes will be matured and implemented in our global production network. Apart from hands-on robotics/automation, your tasks will be very varied and include innovation sprint facilitation, idea generation, design of solutions, testing and coordination. You will act as project member or project manager, depending on your experience.
Qualifications
You have an innovative mind set and hold an engineering degree in robotics and automation or have obtained extensive knowledge about robotics and automation through your current work. You have min. 5 years’ experience working in a development environment, where you have practiced your automation skills. You have solid experience and a proven track record within robotics and traditional automation tools such as PLC. You will to some extent be working together with external partners and therefor you must be outgoing and eager to search for the opportunities in partnerships. Experience within mechanics, design for aseptic processing, GMP and stainless steel is a great plus. When working as project manager and with external partners - navigating among multiple stakeholder interests - your communication and interpersonal skills are essential tools on your road to success.
