Global IT is launching a new initiative to create the necessary core IT capabilities within infrastructure, integrations, data management and platforms that will enable the digitalisation and future growth of our business. Throughout 2020 we will be recruiting different profiles for this initiative. This is our first wave of hiring so the people we bring on board now will have a unique chance to put their footprint on the programme. You will be part of developing the foundational IT capabilities required for Novo Nordisk to succeed with an ambitious transformation of our entire business process landscape.

About the Department
The position is based in Global IT Operations - an area with 200+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
The Corporate Infrastructure department is a team of highly skilled and dedicated employees responsible for the network architecture and future development of the administrative network in Novo Nordisk. We are currently implementing software defined network and other new platforms to help support the future digital journey. We are applying agile ways of working in our IT projects and in operations according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
About the position
As IT Infrastructure Operations Service Partner for Denmark you will be responsible for operational issues, SLAs, life cycle management activities, budgets, negotiation of contracts, optimizations and expansion of the IT Infrastructure. Stakeholder management is a big part of this position and your ability to manage vendors and partners needs to be strong.
The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark, however your daily work and projects can take you to all the Novo Nordisk sites in Denmark.
Your qualifications
You have a bachelor or master’s degree within IT or Management or you have practical working experience of 2+ years with infrastructure and technologies from large corporations. Preferably 2+ years of experience within the Pharma Industry combined with general business understanding. You have an understanding of network services / network platform technologies such as LAN, WiFi, Software Defined Network and WAN.
Good understanding of service management disciplines such as ITIL (ITIL Foundation certified), good project management skills and knowledge of agile disciplines (SAFe) and DevOp.
You must have the ability to lead and influence other people. Furthermore, you must be able to communicate with a wide range of users in different organisational and technical competency levels. You have a professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
