Do you have a natural understanding and interest in technical systems, and do you want to work with automation, control systems, digitalisation and HVAC systems in a highly specialized pharmaceutical factory? Here is your chance! We are currently looking for a BMS Professional with a technical background to work with production, support and projects in a GMP production, to help ensure that our production facility is always ready and compatible to produce.
The position
As Building Automation Professional, you will join our team and take on responsibility and tasks in both the technical and process part of the Building automation systems. Together with the team, you will be responsible for securing that our production facility is always ready and compliant to produce according to the cGMP requirements, which are standard in pharmaceutical production. Besides this, you will play a key role in our improvement projects, where we expect you to contribute with ideas for optimization, improvements and problem solving on our products and processes.
You will have a varied everyday work consisting of both production, projects and quick problem solving in case a problem arises, which requires that you are flexible and adaptable to changes. In addition to this you need to be motivated to drive processes and improvements across the organisation. You will work closely with colleagues in other departments across the factory, e.g. QA and Production at all levels, and a therefore it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in Danish. You will also be the contact to and handle coordination with external consultants working on improvements and projects within the Building automation system.
When working in the pharmaceutical industry, documentation is an important task. Therefore, in addition to practical Building automation tasks, documentation will also be a part of you daily work, meaning that you will write standard operation procedures, perform validations and document changes and deviations.
Qualifications
- You have an educational background within a technical area like general engineering, electrical engineering or architectural engineer.
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in operation or production and preferably with solid experience in automation systems or controlling of HVAC systems.
- You should have a solid technical understanding and a natural interest and experience in technical installations, sensor monitoring and BMS systems, but also be able to see how other technical areas influences this, and hence see the link between e.g. BMS and IT/HVAC.
- You will need to be able to work on several tasks in a dynamic and changing environment and take necessary decisions without compromising product quality or working environment.
- Working proficiency in both Danish and English as both languages will be a part of your daily work
- Previous experience from GMP and pharmaceutical production will be considered an advantage.

About the department
Utility Support is a team in the Aseptic Support Department and is responsible for the production and supply of all clean utilities, e.g. sterile water, steam and ventilation, to the aseptic production facility in Bagsværd. In addition to supply of utilities we also handle monitoring of the facility through our HVAC, FMS and BMS systems, which the vacant position will focus on.
The team comprises 15 highly skilled and experienced colleagues, who will gladly help and train you in the new job. Daily team tasks cover production support and project activities within areas such as aseptic production, repair and maintenance, project and change documentation and deviations handling. You get the opportunity to join a diverse and high performing team with a variety of backgrounds within the Utility area which includes systems related to HVAC, WFI, clean steam, process air, cooling and heating. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of clean utilities in our production facilities.
