To support this in a professional manner and accelerate strategic execution we are strengthening our Technology, Architecture and Innovation department (TAI) in Global IT.
To support buy-in and successful adoption the role of the Clinical Development Domain Architect is to develop, communicate and manage systems, services and standards to enable the Clinical Development organization in collaboration with Global IT Architects and Project teams.
The Job
In LEO Pharma Technology, Architecture and Innovation (TAI) we own the blueprints, roadmaps and solutions used by 6000+ global users, and with significant growth ahead we are building, streamlining and modernizing our landscape assuming a holistic and purposeful perspective.
In collaboration with a team of cross-disciplinary architects you will undertake responsibility for development of actionable roadmaps in the Clinical Development area (Clinical, Regulatory and Safety) with due consideration of people, process, technology and data.
Based upon the Veeva Development Cloud we are building the foundation for a true digital Development organization, and for the right candidate this is an ideal opportunity to join a global technology transformation working with the business to create an optimized and integrated Development platform.
Engage with Line of Business to mature technology demands into viable business cases within the platform framework. Identify optimization and integration opportunities to streamline business processes and adopt cloud service opportunities. Participate in implementation projects as the architectural lead to maximize solution capabilities. Partner with Global IT peers to ensure integrity and quality throughout solution lifecycle Maintain a holistic overview of the systems architecture across the Development area. Own the vision architecture for the Development area and engage with IT and Line of Business to identify and prioritize implementation projects towards this. Work with the DevOps organization to implement regular system updates and maintain the validated state of Development area systems.
Across all of your tasks it is key that you ensure compliance with architectural policies and/or define and recommend updates when needed.
Capabilities
You have at least five years’ experience working in a technical role in Clinical Development and have a good in-depth knowledge in Regulatory or Safety systems and processes.
You have implemented and validated GxP systems, and you have a good understanding of the regulatory framework in your field of expertise.
You are used to working in project teams, managing stakeholders, detailing user requirements and communicating IT concepts to business users.
LEO Pharma is a highly collaborative workplace and as Domain Architect and gatekeeper of architectural blueprint you are confident, and have a level of authority including the ability to consistently communicate decision rationales and architectural standards. With your experience and understanding of the mechanisms of a large organization you are able to prioritize and balance activities in alignment with targets and timelines.
