We are now looking for a Lead Developer to join our team. You will get to influence a growing organisation undergoing changes, and with your solid software development skills, you will play a key role in the continued development of new business deliveries and the migration of new clients including new integrations.
In Securities Trading & Data Management we are currently running important projects like: Data Hub, a one stop architecture for all market and reference data, and Saxo Bank Investment Solution to be linked up with SDC’s Securities trading solution, enabling a best in class Investment Solution for SDC banks.
We are growing our relatively new development team in Securities Trading & Data Management. For this to be a real success, we need a Lead Developer to work out of our Ballerup office. The rest of the development team will be based in Warszawa. Securities Trading and Data management has until now been primarily mainframe based.
The work environment in Securities Trading & Data Management, is characterised by openness, commitment, delegated responsibility and team work. We offer excellent professional and personal development opportunities as well as good employment terms. We currently use a variation of Scrum and TFS for sprint and task management. Automated testing and good code quality are key aspects of this which are important to us.
Design, code, and test proprietary solutions in relation to our Securities Trading platform
As Lead Developer you participate in project work, maintenance tasks and production support. Your responsibilities will include architecting Applications and Databases, technical design, configuration management, development and secure proper testing capabilities of solutions. You will discuss and develop architectural topics with Corporate Banking’s Chief Architects. In your daily work as a Lead Developer, you will ensure, that the team delivers according to architectural decisions. To achieve this, you will inspire, teach and coach your fellow team members.
Experienced Developer
As a person, you possess strong communication and cooperation skills, and you have an analytical mind set. You are a team player, who is proactive, takes responsibility and you like a challenging workday that can be unpredictable at times. You are service-minded towards both clients and colleagues.

Experienced Developer
- You have 8+ years of work experience with software development in C# and design patterns, through which you have achieved a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- You have solid work experience with solution designs, version control systems, IDEs and SQL.
- Experience with TDD and automated testing is an advantage.
- Experience as Lead Developer
- Preferably, you have work experience with continuous integration and multi-threaded back-end systems.
- The Capital Markets domain is complex, and it requires a good understanding of this business domain in order to be able to deliver. If you don’t have this knowledge, you must be willing to learn.
- Work experience from Investment Banking or financial IT, is of course a big advantage.
- Comfortable with English as working language.
