Software Engineer for Tech & Platform team
Do you want to work with insurance IT within a super exciting transformation program?
Here you have an opportunity to be part of the biggest transformation program in the history of Topdanmark. In the program we are transforming our legacy core policy systems to the standard insurance platform Guidewire. As an experienced Software Engineer you have a huge opportunity to make your mark on the future of Topdanmark.

Software Engineer in a Tech & Platform team
Guidewire will over the coming years become the IT backbone to support Topdanmarks insurance journey. In this role you will be a part of a Tech & Platform team that will consist of very skilled and experienced SW engineers. The goal of the team is to secure the long-term quality of the platform by constantly analyzing and solving root causes and improving the non-functional requirements.
The tech stack of Guidewire consists of: GOSU (Java based language, back-end), React (front-end), REST API’s, Kubernetes/Docker on AWS, GIT, GUnit (unit test), Cucumber (BDD), Jenkins. Besides this we have multiple secondary applications build in Java on our Kubernetes/Docker platform.

Your new workplace will be at the Topdanmark head office in Ballerup where you will be part of the Policy Platform area. You will be assigned in a crucial role in the transformation to daily operations as Topdanmark takes over the responsibility for future operations and development from the migration program. There is thus a lot of room to shape the future of your work life.

You possess the following skills/mindset
- Extensive experience as a SW Engineer (preferably Java)
- Experience with application operations and platform maturing through non-functional requirements e.g. performance, availability, CI/CD
- Experience with working in a big enterprise setup with a lot of integrations and legacy platforms preferably towards a standard platform.
- Ability to set the direction via hands-on implementations of various features
- Business knowledge about insurance is an advantage
- Pragmatic mindset with a focus on the things that create value and is possible to implement
