We are looking for an experienced developer with a strong formal background in software engineering or computer science to join our team of software craftsmen in Greenwood Engineering.

About the position
We work with data from a host of sensors such as lasers, doppler-sensors, GPS, gyros and odometers, all networked and mounted in high-tech customized trucks which generate terabyte-sized sets of precisely timed measurement data all while driving and measuring at traffic speed.
We develop time- and performance sensitive data acquisition software in close collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers. We develop the data-platform for postprocessing, analysis, mathematical modeling, visualization and distribution of road data to authorities and specialists around the globe.
We are organized in craftsman teams – software, electrical and technical – and we develop both the standard software platform and customer / country-specific modules and extensions.

You will also have customer contact, where you present and teach the often customer-specific solutions you help to develop. In this connection, there may be some travel activity to our customers, who are spread all over the world.

- Build next generation of large-scale measurement data services
- Replace/Upgrade existing data platform with a new best practice software architecture
- Help us introduce and use best-practice software technologies and practices
- Develop new services, new features, modelling algorithms and features in bi-weekly agile sprints as part of the software team, the craftsman circle and working with the PO
- Support prioritized project specific requirements in international projects and research collaborations
You will also have customer contact, where you present and teach the often customer-specific solutions you help to develop. In this connection, there may be some travel activity to our customers, who are spread all over the world.
Who are you?

- A master degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent
- A drive to take initiative and responsibility
It will be great if you also have:
- Several years of professional experience in the .NET platform (C#/F#) working in software development teams
- Experience with solutions, data-structures and algorithms for large datasets
- Experience with cloud-based architectures
You have the desire and ability to continuously improve and develop yourself. You like to take initiatives and responsibility; you enjoy working with a buddy or in a team and you get your projects executed and completed. You are good at collaborating and are happy to draw on your colleagues' experience.
