Your new role
You will work in an Agile environment where you will be involved in different aspects of the development: analysis, design, implementation, automated testing, code reviews and feature testing. You will be a part of Shorelines international engineering team based in Esbjerg, Denmark and Stavanger, Norway.
Shoreline are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is deeply interested in building and operating the AWS and CI/CD infrastructure for optimization and simulation software in the renewable energy industry.
As DevOps engineer you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Shoreline’s cloud infrastructure, with these responsibilities:
• Build and operate the AWS and CI/CD infrastructure for optimization and simulation software in the renewable energy industry.
• Operate and optimize a cost efficient and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Improve the CI/CD pipeline and make releases as automated and frictionless as possible.
• Reduce the test effort and speed up development cycles and at the same time improve the quality.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for the following:
• Architecture development
• Release management
• Test automation
• Customer, Security & GDPR compliance
What you'll need to succeed
The candidate has worked with the Software Development Lifecycle and knows how to engage with software engineering tools and processes to solve classic operations challenges.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience within development focussing on DevOps
• Full stack developer background with a passion for DevOps
• Experience with Software architecture
• Experience with cloud deployment in Amazon Web Services
• Experience with release governance automation
• Experience setting up a secure environment
• Experience with Unix / Linux / Bash knowledge
• Understanding of data security and compliance
• Are communicative and collaborative
