At Semco Maritime you will be joining our dedicated Product Line Team in our Renewables Department.
Here you will play an important role in the development, implementation, maintenance, documentation and support of Offshore substation CPQ (configure-price-quote) application.
We have one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations worldwide, so you will join a company in growth!
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new Product Line Software Engineer you will be responsible for product configuration models and development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the offshore substation CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) software tool.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Your qualifications and skills
We imagine that you have an engineering degree in computer science, software development or similar.
Furthermore, having electrical knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement. You must be fluent in both verbal and written English.

Your tasks and responsibilities
As our new Product Line Software Engineer you will be responsible for product configuration models and development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the offshore substation CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) software tool.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Testing framework, processes, scripts including data testing
- Coordinating and developing integrations to business applications and databases
- Assessing existing product configuration models and CPQ applications, and work with product line team and business stakeholders to recommend improvements
- Contributing towards modelling of the business data flow with key business stakeholders
- Participating in product modularisation workshops
Your qualifications and skills
We imagine that you have an engineering degree in computer science, software development or similar.
Furthermore, having electrical knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement. You must be fluent in both verbal and written English.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- Have a systematic mindset and avid data-centric thinking skills
- Are analytical and pragmatic with great problem-solving skills
- Have experience with Stakeholder engagement and change management awareness
- Are comfortable with product modelling and configuration
- Have scripting experience, preferably with Python
