Senior SAP Solution Architect – Finance
Do you want to step directly into our S4 HANA greenfield project? Are you ready to support SAP standard processes when transforming the business to the new solutions? And do you want to join a well consolidated company with digital ambitions? If yes, then you may be our new Senior SAP Solution Architect in Finance.
In this role you will join DLG´s Group IT SAP Solutions team which consists of 30 internal SAP architects, consultants, test manager and developers. We cooperate cross-border and are located both in Denmark and Germany. Your main focus will be the SAP Finance Solution in our S4 project for the next 2 years and the continued development of the solution after go´live. In parallel with the project you will be part of the ongoing support on the old ECC system and collaborate with your colleagues in Germany.
The future is business harmonization and digital differentiation
SAP-ECC has been our core ERP solution in both DLG and our German sister company HaGe for several years, though with two separated systems. This includes most SAP modules like MM, SD, QM, PP-PI, FI, CO, eWM, PO, BW and several 3rd party solutions. Our ambition is therefore to be more process-oriented and replace the old SAP ECC solution with a common S/4 HANA solution.
Your tasks and responsibilities
The future solutions will be based on SAP Standard scope items, generic process flows and only exceptionally with differentiating adjustments. As our new Senior SAP Solution Architect – Finance, it is your role to understand our business processes and business requirements and transform those to robust standard SAP solutions.
After a short introduction to our current solution and processes, you will be introduced to the project
You will be organized in an agile Finance team, and here you must both challenge as/is and drive the process from ideas to a new design, configuration, test and roll out. After hypercare you will do further enhancement of the solution and subsequent application support and maintenance.
What we expect from you
We expect that you possess solid SAP skills in either FI or CO or both. Ideally you also have FI-CA/IS-U and Treasury experience. SAP S/4 HANA and especially SAP Controlling experience will be an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
You are proactive, empathic, and self-motivating by nature with the ability to take lead in your area and involve your colleagues as a team player. You can set priorities in order to make the right progress of the project.
As an experienced architect you have gained good communication skills, and you grow your relationships with the business and technical colleagues.
As we use the agile delivery method, experience herein is also an advantage.
We expect you to be fluent in written and spoken English. Solid Danish and/or German skills is an advantage.

Your working location will be from our office in Fredericia, but expect travel days to other locations like Aarhus, Copenhagen, Flensburg or Kiel. Our presence in the office is flexible with options to work from home, however the S4 HANA project requires physical presence 3 days per week.
