Everfuel is a leading hydrogen company, committed to transforming the energy landscape through green hydrogen production. They work to make the world a better place by showing the way to a fossil-free future, and by making green hydrogen commercially attractive both as a sustainable fuel in the transport sector and as a green solution for industry. Today, Everfuel collaborates with external software developers to support their internal team. However, they aim to strengthen their in-house expertise and take full ownership of critical tasks, which is why they are now looking for their next Everfueller!
As Everfuel’s new Software Developer, you will:
- Develop back-end systems for Hy-application systems.
- Scope new solutions and align them with stakeholders.
- Define the architecture of future systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize.
- Review external development processes and transition them to internal management.
As Everfuel’s new Software Developer, you will join the Digital Solutions Department, consisting of IT, information security, Product Management and software development. The department is responsible for designing and developing the digital solutions which allow Everfuel to become a leading energy company. This involves the existing HyOps (Production and Production optimization software), HyTrack (Hydrogen tracking software) and the Helios platform which manages their data portfolio, and all systems included within.
They manage their work with Azure DevOps and use the CI/CD workflow with Azure Pipelines and infrastructure as code. The system is based on an event driven architecture relying heavily on the Azure platform and the applications within. You will be part of the architectural planning of the system, along with other members of the team.
Who are you?
You have a flair for software development, and you have an education as a computer scientist or computer engineer or likewise, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
We imagine you are analytical and detail-oriented yet are still able to work in a busy environment with a lot of interfaces. As a person, you are dedicated to your job, and you want to make a difference in the world by working for a company that wants to make green transportation possible.
Moreover, you are self-driven and motivated to acquire new skills and knowledge which will be needed in the position. The right candidate will have good team and communication skills to convey specific problems or developments to the team.
Furthermore, you are proficient in both written and spoken English.
You have experience with:
- Backend development in C# and .NET Core
- Cloud and event-based systems
- API building and integration
- CI/CD concepts – e.g., with automated testing and deployment
And only a plus, if you know some of the below mentioned areas:
- Entity Framework
- FastAPI
- DevOps(yaml, Azure Pipelines)
- IaC – Biceps
- Azure functions, Event Hub and Service Bus
- TDD – Test driven development

They are based at the Everfuel Farm in Høgild near Herning and in Fredericia, where they are building Europe's largest electrolysis plant to date and new attractive offices.
