Topsil manufactures ultra-pure silicon for the global semiconductor industry. The finished product is used in various electronic components which are included in e.g. high-speed trains, hybrid / electric cars and the electricity supply network. At the company site in Frederikssund, silicon crystal is grown with the high-tech ‘float zone process’, which places great demands on all links in the chain in terms of quality, technical understanding and efficiency. Topsil is ISO9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certified. The company work according to lean principles and continuous improvement is part of everyday life. The position
Topsil currently has an AX 4.0 ERP platform, which is adapted to their processes. Topsil is on a digitalisation journey. They will implement a new platform at a later time and at that point you will be a key person in ensuring the implementation. However, for now the main task is to support and develop the current system. You will have a vital role in the company since AX is used in the majority of the company’s processes and operations.
You will be part of a software team with four other skilled colleagues who develop PLC automation, data collection, vision systems, SPC, etc. You will be the expert for the ERP system. The team works according to an Agile Scrum methodology, as this helps in prioritising tasks and fosters close collaboration, ensuring that you will get the necessary support from the team when needed.
