We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Support Linux and Windows deployments.
- Manage Office365 suite.
- Manage and support VMware virtual environment.
- Install, configure, and manage local/remote physical network hardware (Firewalls, Routers, Switches and Access points).
- Perform maintenance and support for servers and network equipment (software/firmware upgrades).
- Perform Disaster Recovery planning, implementation, replication, snapshots/backups, and testing.
- Troubleshoot and perform break-fix tasks on all system/network related devices.
- Perform daily system monitoring verifying the performance, integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources and systems.
- Review system and application logs and ensure overall system health.
- Assist in improving and documenting system/network standards and practices.
- Work with fellow team members to ensure the delivery of high-level support to our customers.
- Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies and recommends solutions for future designs.
Requirements
- At least two years’ experience in Linux system administration role or equivalent.
- Experience in at least two scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, or PowerShell configurations via scripting.
- Experience with system configuration management tools such as Puppet.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Subversion or GIT.
Will be a PLUS:
- Knowledge of docker, Puppet, MySQL, NGINX, LVM, VMware, Bash.
- Passionate for automation and efficiency.
- Knowledge of web programming languages: Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, PHP.
- Certifications: CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco or Juniper preferred.
