We need skilled technical Hybrid Cloud Engineers to join our Hybrid Cloud journey enabling the digital transformation of DSV Panalpina A/S.
Global IT
Your role will be to guide and support all DSV Panalpina developers and projects and will be part of developing the foundational IT capabilities required for DSV Panalpina to operate in a multi cloud environment, we strive toward agile development and are using DevOps methodologies and toolchains for our future infrastructure.
Global IT is launching a new initiative to create a Hybrid Cloud platform to provide the necessary IT capabilities within infrastructure, we will enable the infrastructure for containerization. You will be part of the Core team to build and maintain the Hybrid environment together with the rest of Global IT.
By joining Global IT, you will become part of a strong global community of more than 1400 highly skilled IT professionals, who are responsible for IT systems, services, processes, and IT operations.
Almost all our work is international, so you’ll need to have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
Your workplace will be in our modern headquarters located in Hedehusene, near Copenhagen.
The CCoE department
The position is based in the Cloud organization, within Global IT Operations. This is a team of highly skilled Cloud architects and evangelists, who possess solid business understanding as well as being on the forefront of the development of the cloud platforms and technologies. It is a global team which has team members in Denmark, South Africa, Poland, and the Philippines. By using Opensource technologies with support from multiple vendors it is DSV’s Goal to become vendor agnostic and be able to provide better utilization of our infrastructure with an increased cost transparency and be able to adjust needs according to business demands.
Hybrid Cloud Architect Qualifications and experience:
• Skilled in Kubernetes (We use Charmed Kubernetes)
• Have experience with Opensource technologies
• Be acquainted with platforms such as Kafka, Ceph, Postgres.
• In depth knowledge of Cluster setup and orchestration
• Skilled in Azure / GCP / Hybrid disciplines
• Able to guide and set directions for colleagues
• Able to do scripting (Ansible, Terraform etc.)
• communicate well and be creative and persuasive
• be a team player and great at building and maintaining a network of colleagues from around the world.
• have a relevant educational qualification or experience
