As an architect, you will be a valued and trusted partner to the business and management, as you help to bring business-, and IT strategies from idea to realization.
A trusted partner to delivery units and internal stakeholders
As an IT integrations Architect, you will be a key player in setting direction for how we do integrations in DSV. You have the overview of what happens in the development of modern technologies, and you can translate that to fit our purpose. Your function will be a part of the Corporate Integrations Management Team and will work in a function that can be described as a Strategic IT Integrations Architect.
Your main task will be to be part of defining integrations patterns and governance around building a bridge between DSV classic applications and new digital products.
This includes:
Experienced architect with strong communication skills
As a person, you are independent and a true leader who knows how to communicate and collaborate to achieve the defined business objectives. You can stand your ground when challenged, and you know how to navigate at both top management and specialist level.
Your Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience related to IT processes and organization in a large enterprise; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience. Related experience in the freight forwarding industry is highly desirable.

This includes:
- Understanding how DSV classic business applications integrate and be an advocate for best practices
- Participate as SME in projects and changes requiring integrations ensuring an Enterprise perspective
- Understanding new integration paradigms for new digital products being developed in DSV
- Defining how classic and new applications and products can co-exist
- Develop governance around integration patterns and technologies
- Work with Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects on ensuring alignments on integration patterns
- Drive a common understanding on integrations processes, governance and tools in DSV Global IT.

Your Competencies – Must have
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Able to easily communicate on and switch between levels of abstraction depending on the target group and or product stage
- Experience in architecting and defining standards and specifications
- Good and proven understanding of the complex nature of IT processes in large enterprises
- Self-driven with ability to take ownership of tasks in a complex organization.
Your Competencies – Nice to have
- Experience in integration patterns like ESB, Event Driven, Message Driven, ETL.
- Experience with on-premise and hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience with Microsoft BizTalk, Kakfka, IBM CP4I
