The Team
The Innovation Team is a global team working across a handful of Stibo Systems locations to fuel innovation at Stibo Systems. We help inspire and ignite exciting innovative projects to deliver new solutions to our customers. Product Managers, developers, software architects, and even PhD fellowships work with data science, new tech, machine learning and much more. We work with our existing technologies such as STEP (Stibo Systems Enterprise Platform) and PDX (Product Data Exchange). We play, we have fun, and we deliver value to the business.

The Job
As a developer in the innovation team, you will be part of a heterogenous group of folks who work with innovation day in and day out, trying out new thoughts and ideas, building mocks, and working on proof of concepts and pilot projects that test out new technologies and solutions. Most importantly, you can challenge the existing way of thinking by bringing in new ideas, things we’ve never thought of, or stuff we should have tried out long ago. You will surprise and inspire us.
More specifically, you will:
As a person you must be curious, courageous and possess that never-giving-up attitude when you have had THAT GREAT IDEA that you need to convince other people of. You are known for spotting opportunities, seizing them, and moving them forward. You are relentless in pushing innovation to deliver value to a business. You have programming experience, you have been exposed to a range of technologies, probably centered around data, and you may have experience from data science, machine learning, deep learning.

The Job

More specifically, you will:
- Identify, incubate, and pilot innovation projects and ideas
- Research, investigate and try out new tech in collaboration with the rest of the team
- Demonstrate mock solutions to key stakeholders for review and turn the mocks into real solutions that can be delivered as key deliverables of product releases
- Develop prototypes of apps/applications and solutions for data management use cases
- Provide input to build roadmap for both the product itself but also to the product enablement part of the portfolio

- Experience in one or several of the following: Java, GWT, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Oracle, Cassandra, GraphQL, XML, JSON, SOA, JMS, Blockchain, REST, …
- An innovative and curious mindset – you hate thinking inside the box and thrive thinking outside or even in other boxes
- Good analytical skills to think through complicated designs and interdependent use cases
- Good communication and writing skills, proficient in verbal and written English
