About the department
You will be a part of Diabetes API (DAPI) in Kalundborg. We produce the active ingredient for almost half of the world’s diabetes treatment. The team consists of 4 colleagues who provide daily support to the production. The main tasks for the team are to support the production, problem solving and automate & improve the processes.
The position
We seek a talented student with flair for process optimization, automatization and robots to work as our new Project Manager Intern. You will be involved in a broad variety of tasks and projects across the team. You will be working as a part of a project team, and therefore good communications and personal skills are very important. There will be a high focus on collaboration and relations with all parts of the organisation. You need to be fast at understanding technical processes and the requirements for these processes.
You will work with collection and analysis of data to be used in decision processes in the organisation. Including a cost-benefit analysis of technology choices. On top of that you will take part in different phases of a project, including planning, meetings and work shop execution. All this will be done in close collaboration with the responsible project managers and suppliers. You will receive sparring and coaching. As an intern you can expect to be challenged in delivering strong and profound results with real business impact across DAPI Kalundborg
• Internship Period: The internship is a full-time position for 5-6 months.
• The internship is paid, if your Education track allows it.
• Working Hours: 37 hours/week - we are flexible regarding work hours.
• Start Date: 1st August 2020 we are flexible regarding internship timing.
• A Danish full-time work permit is required.
• Working place: Kalundborg, Denmark
Qualifications
We are looking for an intern with passion for Lean, manufacturing processes and automation. As a person you possess at drive to work independently, are not afraid to consult colleagues/experts and are able to change track when findings show that it makes sense. You can communicate even complex information in easy terms in both Danish and English. Finally, you have a good sense of humour and enjoy working in an agile environment.
You are confident or curious about some of the following areas:
• Project management (scheduling, cost etc.)
• Lean and process optimisation
• Process mapping and visualizations
• Analysis of optimization opportunities
• GMP experience is a plus

• Chemical Engineering
You thrive with analytical tasks and have a sharp eye for details. We expect candidates to be service minded, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. You work easily with IT applications such as Excel and PowerPoint and see challenges such as technical troubles or knowledge limitations as an opportunity to learn more. Excellent language skills in English and Danish is required.
