About the position
The position provides the right candidate with a multitude of opportunities along with central organizational importance, extensive influence and responsibility. The company has driven significant transformations within the SAP platform and envisions driving further cloud solutions and HANA adoptions and transformations based on a signed off investment budget. You will be a key player in these adoptions and transformations by providing leadership within SAP architecture and guidance of a diverse set of stakeholders on the vision, roadmaps and execution plans. For the right candidate the position provides diverse challenges of platform/system-/technical/application architecture and at the same time demands the profile to be well versed in organizational maneuverability with an excellent sense for relationship and stakeholder management. For the right candidate extensive development, training and certifications will be considered a mutual investment and commitment. Operation and application management are hosted/outsourced along with business transformation through 3rd party.
Job Profile | Main responsibilities
Lead SAP architectural development – target architecture and roadmaps etc. represent SAP architecture in architecture board and decision forums within Airbus Corp. experience with and capable of executing in a partly outsourced and multi-vendor environment experienced and comfortable engaging in multiple stakeholder relations stretching technology business topics incl. close collaboration with Business Relationship management & 3rd party business transformation resources initially short-term frame the current state of the union and provide guidance on setting the road forward mid/long term build HANA transition roadmap lead, guide and coach organization wide engagement in the transformation with focus on brokering the vision and target within SAP & IT teams, BRM and 3rd party innovation, execution and operation efforts SAP go-to person and key resource in translating landscape transformation in an organizational development perspective.
Personal profile | Experience & Competencies
probably has a master's degree in computer science or software engineering or other IT/Digital/Technology domains probably at least 5-10 years working within SAP platform and knowledge of technical-, application- and business process operation in that environment experience/knowledge with wall-2-wall SAP landscapes, installations and application portfolio – experience with cloud and HANA solutions will be an advantage excellent experience knowledge within SD and WM is a strong advantage-/requirement. Can have been obtained in different ways, roles and industries strong communication, relationship and stakeholder management skills along with facilitation and ability to span IT and Business boundaries & languages open and inclusive with the ability to communicate up- & down – wards with both IT, business and vendor stakeholders (dialogue focus) ability to identify and outline impact and benefit from both technical and business perspectives a keen sense of diplomacy and empathy and a good listener a starter by nature and in parallel persistent and decisive preferably architecture experience either technical, solution and/or enterprise architecture and familiar with terminology (e.g. TOGAF, EA3, SAP EAF or other architectural frameworks) experience with SAP integration method and generally knowledgeable about integrations and interface options & technologies.
Other requirements
able to travel 20-30 days per year fluent in English – spoken and written on business level probably has a master's degree in computer science or software engineering.
