Maersk IT Application Development is looking to strengthen the Software Development capability with a Software Engineer/Developer. If you have several years of experience in software development and you are looking to engage and learn, you are welcome to join us in this data-driven journey.

As a starting point you will be placed at the core of the Customer Allocation program and work closer to our Product Owner and Business Stakeholders on a daily basis. The program is divided into several devops teams and you will be joining one of these teams.
You will be a software engineer with strong front-end development skills in your Scrum team, share technical knowledge, mentor less senior developers and collaborate with the other teams in the program. You will be reporting directly to the Delivery Lead of the department. Your tasks will among other things include the following:
• writing and maintaining secure, robust, scalable and efficient code that turns business concepts into tangible solutions, products and user experiences
• driving DevOps and CI/CD
• setting and ensuring high software development and code quality standards in the team
• adopt modern technologies and accelerate innovation in the development department by driving cloud-native approach, PaaS paradigm, T-shaped people mindset, DevOps, etc.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate is a proactive developer, who has a proven track record with Front-end development. We are immediately in need of a team member with the following skills and experiences:
• Experience with Angular or React framework
• 3+ years of experience with Typescript/JavaScript (e.g. VueJs)
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology
• Practical knowhow of working with Git and pull request principals.
• Fluent in English speaking, reading and writing.
Furthermore, you will be able to grow in different areas with us, but if you have already the following skills, it will be considered an advantage:
• Java Back-end development using Java
• Experience with BDD test automation (e.g. Cucumber).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Experience developing microservices and understanding of the Domain Driven Design approach
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Cloud
• Working knowledge of nonrelational (NoSQL) databases (Azure Cosmos DB)
